Our love and aroha go out to the Mount Maunganui community following the tragic events that have recently shaken the area. The landslide at the base of Mauao has deeply impacted whānau, responders, and the wider community, and we stand in solidarity with everyone affected.

As a result, our Disabled Surfers Association NZ event scheduled for Saturday 28th February at has moved to Papamoa Surf Lifesaving Club, 61 Papamoa Beach Road, Papamoa Beach, Tauranga 3118

Event Details:

• 2026 summer season 2nd event: Sat 28 Feb at Papamoa Surf Club, 61 Papamoa Beach Road, Papamoa Beach, Tauranga 3118
• Where are the Auckland events  held?: The Auckland events are held at Piha Beach (South Piha) next to Piha surf lifesaving club.
• Directions: South Piha Google Map
• How long do the events run for?: Event days generally run from 10.00 am – 1pm time depending on number of participants.
• Awards & BBQ: Surfing is followed by a BBQ and certificate presentation.
